Our Team
Ariadni works with a small and stable team.
We deliberately bring together people from different generations and with different experiences. Our team members have worked together for a long time. This allows us to learn from one another, develop our work together and provide continuity for the people who come to Ariadni.
We believe that different generations bring different perspectives and experiences. This is particularly important in our work with women and families, where relationships between generations play an important role.
Our team’s stability creates stability for the people we work with.
Volunteers
Volunteers are part of our team, but we deliberately keep the number of volunteers working directly with women and children small.
Normally, there is no more than one volunteer supporting the Women’s Programme and one volunteer supporting EcoKids at a time. This allows volunteers to become part of the existing team and gives the people who come to Ariadni continuity and familiar faces.
We are looking for people who are reliable, open-minded and willing to contribute to an existing team.
Women’s Programme
Volunteers can support activities with women, including creative and practical activities, cooking, crafts and everyday tasks.
EcoKids
Volunteers can support environmental education and activities with children, including gardening, recycling and creative projects.
Other ways to help
There are also many practical ways to support Ariadni. Depending on our current needs, this can include helping with shopping, gardening, transfers, maintenance or other activities.
